How this site may make money
Plainly: today the site is funded by its owner. It may join affiliate programs, and if it does, some links will earn a commission on purchases.
The arrangement
Buttons marked "See it at" and similar links lead to the brand's own website through a redirect on this domain. If The Review Beacon has joined that brand's affiliate program, or a network that includes it, a purchase you make after clicking may earn this site a commission. The price you pay is the same either way.
At the time of writing the site has not been paid any commission. This page will be updated when that changes.
What it does not change
- Scores are set before links are added and are not revisited because of them.
- Brands do not see reviews before publication and cannot buy placement, a score, or a softer skip list.
- Brands that have no affiliate program are reviewed on the same terms as brands that do.

Outbound retail links carry a rel="nofollow" attribute and pass through /go/ on this domain so that we can count clicks in aggregate. We do not track individual readers through them.
