Roborock Review: Great Robots, Shaky Aftercare in 2026?
Roborock builds some of the most capable robot vacuums on sale, but its owners tell a very different story about what happens once the one-year warranty clock starts ticking.

The verdict in 60 seconds
- The Qrevo Curv 2 Flow and Qrevo 2 Pro are the two models we would shortlist, one for mopping-heavy homes and one for value.
- Most of the US store sits permanently below a higher “was” price, so judge the selling price, not the size of the discount.
- Returns are allowed for any reason within 30 days of delivery, but you need every accessory and the original box, and a penalty may apply if pieces are missing.
- The standard warranty is one year on new machines and only six months on certified refurbished units, which is thin for a four-figure appliance.
- Trustpilot reviewers are overwhelmingly negative about repairs and support, while the companion app holds a very high App Store rating.
The Beacon Score
Class-leading hardware and a polished app, dragged down by a one-year warranty and a support record that owners describe as slow and circular.

What we'd buy

Qrevo Curv 2 Flow $999.99
A roller mop that cleans itself as it goes, plus 20,000 Pa of suction.
Most Roborock mops are spinning pads. The Curv 2 Flow swaps them for a SpiraFlow roller that the robot rinses in real time, which is the better answer for kitchens and homes with a lot of hard floor. The product page also lists a dual zero-tangle brush system, AI obstacle recognition, and carpet protection. It was one of the few models not discounted when we checked, so you pay full freight, and a roller is one more wear part to replace over the years.
- Best for
- Hard-floor homes where mopping matters as much as vacuuming
- Weak spot
- Rarely discounted, and the roller is a recurring cost

Qrevo 2 Pro $549.99
Flagship habits, including mop removal for carpets, at a mid-range sale price.
The Qrevo 2 Pro is the sensible Roborock. Its page promises 20,000 Pa of HyperForce suction, a dual anti-tangle system, and a dock that washes the mops and can detach them automatically so the robot crosses rugs dry. That last feature used to be reserved for far pricier models. Its struck-through “was” price sat $250 higher when we checked, a reminder of how often Roborock runs promotions. Owners of earlier Qrevo models report that docks need regular cleaning to avoid smells.
- Best for
- Mixed carpet and hard floors on a moderate budget
- Weak spot
- Dock needs regular cleaning to stay fresh

Saros 20 $1,599.99
The 2026 flagship, built to climb thresholds that strand other robots.
If your house has raised door sills or rug edges that keep stranding cheaper robots, the Saros 20 is the model designed for it. Roborock says its AdaptiLift chassis can cross double-layer thresholds up to 3.46 inches, and it pairs a 36,000 Pa motor with recognition of more than 300 obstacle types and a FlexiArm edge cleaner. That is a lot of moving parts to keep working on a one-year warranty, and the price sits in the range where a single out-of-warranty repair stings.
- Best for
- Larger homes with thresholds and rugs everywhere
- Weak spot
- Complex hardware on a short warranty

Q7 L5 $249.99
LiDAR mapping and a dual anti-tangle brush for the price of a basic bump-and-go robot.
The Q7 L5 is the cheapest way into Roborock’s mapping and app, which is where much of the brand’s reputation comes from. The page lists 8,000 Pa of suction and the dual anti-tangle system, and it sells without an auto-empty dock, so you empty the bin yourself. For a small apartment or a second floor that is no hardship. Do not expect the mopping to match the docked models, and remember the same one-year warranty applies whatever you spend.
- Best for
- Apartments and first-time robot owners
- Weak spot
- No auto-empty dock, so the bin is your job

H60 Hub Ultra $299.99
A cordless stick vacuum with an auto-empty dock, for the corners robots miss.
Even the best robot leaves stairs, sofa cushions, and car seats untouched, and the H60 Hub Ultra is Roborock’s answer. The dock empties the dust cup and charges the stick, which removes the messiest part of owning a cordless vacuum. The page also promises an anti-tangle brush and multi-stage filtration. The base takes up floor space that a wall mount does not, and the H60 range is crowded with near-identical variants, so read the spec table carefully before you choose.
- Best for
- Stairs, upholstery, and quick spot cleans
- Weak spot
- Confusingly similar sibling models and a bulky base
What we'd pass on
Saros Z70
A robot vacuum with a folding five-axis arm that picks up socks is a clever trick, and Roborock calls it the first mass-produced one. The price has collapsed from its launch figure to under half, which tells its own story. A first-generation arm is exactly the kind of mechanism we would not want to own on a one-year warranty, given how owners describe repair turnaround.
Certified refurbished robots
The refurbished section looks tempting, with older flagships marked far below their original prices. The catch is in the warranty terms: refurbished units get six months of coverage instead of a year. Considering how many owners report faults surfacing after the first few months, we would rather pay more for a new Qrevo 2 Pro and keep the full year.
How Roborock stacks up
Two brands a shopper is likely to be weighing at the same time. Words only; the numbers change too often to print.
| Row | Roborock | Dreame | Ecovacs |
|---|---|---|---|
| Range | Robot vacuums from budget to flagship, wet-dry floor washers, and stick vacuums | Robots, wet-dry vacuums, sticks, and a growing line of hair tools | Deebot robot vacuums, window-cleaning robots, and robot lawn mowers |
| Price position | Mid to premium, with near-constant markdowns from inflated reference prices | Similar spread, often slightly undercutting Roborock on comparable docks | Comparable, with heavy discounting on older Deebot generations |
| Returns | Thirty days from delivery for any reason, all accessories and packaging required | Thirty days from receipt on its own store, return postage on you | Thirty days on direct orders according to third-party guides |
| Standout | Navigation and a highly rated app that owners rarely complain about | Aggressive feature launches that keep pace with Roborock | Broader home-robot catalog beyond floors |
Before you check out
Each line below was read on Roborock's own site in October 2026. Policies move; if one has, tell us.
Right buyer, wrong buyer
Buy if you are
- Someone who wants strong mapping and an app that owners consistently rate highly
- Homes with rugs and hard floors that need a dock to lift or remove mops
Pass if you are
- Anyone who expects fast, human support when a robot breaks
- Shoppers in Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico, since the store will not ship there
Still wondering?
Is the Roborock “was” price real?
We would not rely on it. Nearly every robot on the US store showed a struck-through reference price well above the selling price when we checked, sometimes by more than half. Judge the selling price against rivals instead, and if you have time, wait for a holiday promotion before buying.
How long is the Roborock warranty?
One year for new machines bought from Roborock or an authorized US seller, and six months for certified refurbished units. Consumables such as batteries, brushes, filters, and mop pads are excluded unless a defect elsewhere caused the damage. Roborock sells extended warranty plans per model if you want longer cover.
Can I return a Roborock if I just do not like it?
Yes. The policy allows returns for any reason within 30 days of delivery. Keep the box and every accessory, because Roborock requires the original packaging and says it may charge a penalty for missing parts. Expect support to try troubleshooting before it approves the return.
Why are Roborock’s reviews so mixed?
Product reviews and the app score well, while Trustpilot, where people tend to post after a problem, shows a TrustScore of 1.5 from a few hundred reviews. The recurring complaints there concern repairs that take weeks, faults that return after service, and email support that loops without resolving anything.
Bottom line
Roborock makes robots that clean and navigate as well as anything you can buy, and the Qrevo 2 Pro is the sweet spot of the range. The weakness is everything after checkout: a one-year warranty, strict packaging rules for returns, and a support record owners describe harshly. Buy new rather than refurbished, register the robot, keep the box, and budget for an extended plan on anything near the top of the lineup.
